My cat is a little bit Off - or Maybe not. He whines Cajoles Purrs Rubs Even licks me I think for Food, but Even when it Is proffered, he Continues to purr Rub on me and Lick - until He finally Eats. |
Maybe the cat Is not so far Off. Love the Feeder more than the Food. Love God more than What He gives. Seek God First. |
COMMENTARY Does my cat only want food or does he also want companionship? G...d must wonder the same of us, who usually call out to Him only when we have a selfish need. We might do a little better in our bribery prayers, pretending we love Him more than for what he gives us, although he gives us life - what more could we possibly want?
